Fresh from art school in New York City, Bud Scheffel started his career in 1982, at age 22, as a traveling graphic designer and art director, taking positions all over the US, Europe and Asia, with concentrated efforts in Milan, Paris, Tokyo, and Los Angeles. Upon his return in 1987, he started his own advertising agency in NYC. He soon moved the business to the Catskill Mountains in upstate NY. Bud met his wife/partner soon after, and together they started earthsaverwindsculpture.com. Bud continues to push the envelope in the design and engineering of his everchanging wind sculptures.
